stalwart of 30+ years Blair Rideout (Ecclesiastical Scaffolding),
drawing influence from a diverse range of sources - Krautrock/Kosmische
music, the 1980s Industrial and underground cassette scene,
early Detroit Techno, videogame culture and cyberpunk with a
nod to more modern phenomena such as glitch aesthetic and the
modular synthesis revival. Time Urgency infuses these roots with
a strong DIY/hacker ethos - using many devices that have been
modified or made by the artist himself – as well as a healthy dose
of humour and larrikin spirit."
